The VADO HIKER feels at home in any terrain, and your child is equipped for all outdoor adventures. The shoes are made of a breathable imitation leather/mesh upper and feature a warm lining. The toe and high-wear areas are reinforced with a durable TPU coating. The easy-to-use BOA Fit System ensures a perfect fit, and your child will never trip over untied laces. Reflectors on the heel and sides provide better visibility at dusk and thus increased safety. The GORE-TEX membrane makes the shoe waterproof and breathable, ensuring feet always stay dry. The shoe has a rubber outsole. This provides better grip, and the VADO X Flex Zone in the front of the sole is proven to support healthy gait development. All VADO shoes are equipped with a removable footbed that can be machine washed at 30°C and feature the signature VADO midsole. These can also be removed if space is needed for orthopedic insoles or if the feet have grown in order to extend the wearing time.
